“I paint a lot - every day - so I get a lot of opportunities to experiment with different techniques. If I like it, I’ll stick with it for a while until the next technique develops, and that’s how my work is continuously evolving. I don’t tend to revisit places that often, I just find myself wandering around, and when I see a cool angle or something that floats my boat, I stop and paint it. It feels more natural and organic that way.”
